This necklace is crafted from beads of red agate, lapis lazuli and pale jade, flanked by gold-plated hematite discs. The necklace is finished with a gold-plated magnetic ball clasp.
Sithathoryunet (c.1887-1813 BC) was a princess during Egypt’s Middle Kingdom at whose burial site was discovered a trove of extraordinary treasures, including the gold, carnelian, lapis lazuli and turquoise necklace that inspires this piece.
