An artist's representation of what is regarded as one of the most beautiful pieces of Ice Age art ever found.

The original sculpture resides within the British Museum collection. It is carved from the tip of a mammoth tusk and shows two reindeer, one behind the other - a figurative sculpture of remarkable naturalism carved with considerable skill and artistry.

The original is thought to originate 13,000 years ago (from the Late Magdalenian period, which was the later periods of the Ice Age in Europe). It was discovered in the rockshelter of Montastruc, France, in 1867.

This artist's representation has been created by Eolith Designs in Crook, County Durham, as a limited edition of 570 pieces.
